Business Development Manager, ANZ eCommerce Expansion

About This Role
A global freight forwarding and logistics company is hiring a Business Development Manager to help
lead its international eCommerce expansion across key trade lanes including Australia, the UK,
Europe, and Asia. This is a hunter-focused role selling a mature, proven, highly scalable
cross-border eCommerce logistics product that is already winning in market. Role is fully remote
and based in the United States.
What you will do
• Lead the push to grow eCommerce logistics business across Australia, UK, Europe, and Asia
trade lanes
• Develop new business with eCommerce retailers, freight forwarders, and other targeted customers
across every stage of the sales cycle: targeting, prospecting, qualification, proposal, close
• Manage large-scale, complex contract negotiations and close new business across all pillars of
the business
• Build long-term strategic relationships with decision-makers at target accounts
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations that bring the solution and value proposition to life
• Build and maintain a healthy, continuously refreshed pipeline of target entities
• Maintain accurate customer records and streamlined processes in Salesforce
• Represent the brand at conferences and industry forums
• Travel across region as the role requires
What we are looking for
• Must be based in the United States (role is fully remote within the US)
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience selling solutions to business customers
(10+ years industry sales experience strongly preferred)
• Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Experience building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external)
and the ability to influence those stakeholders
• Comfortable with solution selling, including technical integration conversations with
customers, in addition to price and product selling
• Strong objection handling, internally and externally, professionally and successfully
• Confident, "can do" attitude; takes ownership and accountability for actions, personal
development, and results
• Excellent oral and written communication, strong organizational skills (including while
traveling), and intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
work experience
Compensation: $120,000 to $150,000 base, plus commissions.
