## The role
Bee-Line is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead and grow the last-mile delivery business. This is a builder role for a proven operator who has grown a delivery or courier business, sold logistics services, and understands the operational fundamentals of dispatch and daily execution. The GM will own commercial growth, operations oversight, and team leadership.
## Core responsibilities

- Drive commercial growth: sell logistics services, convert existing customer relationships, and open new accounts
- Oversee dispatch and daily operations to ensure service quality and profitability
- Lead and develop the operating team
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, drivers/carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Partner with ownership on strategy, hiring, and market expansion
## What we're looking for
- **5+ years in last-mile delivery, courier, or logistics industry** (asset-based, brokerage, or hybrid)
- **Proven track record of growing a delivery or courier business** at the leadership or GM level
- **Sold logistics services** and can point to specific revenue growth outcomes
- **Deep operational fluency**: understands dispatch, routing, driver management, and daily execution mechanics
- **Existing Houston customer relationships** that can be leveraged for near-term revenue impact
- **Player-coach mindset**: hands-on in the daily grind, not looking to manage from a distance
- Comfortable owning P&L and being measured on EBITDA
## Nice-to-haves
- Experience in shipments 10,000 lbs and under (parcels, final-mile freight, expedited)
- Existing carrier and driver network in Houston
- Prior experience scaling a regional operation
