## About the Role
A well-established international freight forwarder and customs broker — decades in the market, with a nationwide branch network — is hiring **Sales Representatives** to drive new business. Openings right now in three markets: **New Jersey, Chicago, and Atlanta.**
This is a true hunter seat. You'll own new-logo acquisition: prospecting BCOs and shippers, diagnosing their international and domestic supply chain needs, and closing forwarding, customs brokerage, and trade-compliance solutions.
## What You'll Own
- **New business acquisition** — build and work a pipeline of importers, exporters, and domestic shippers in your local market
- **Solution selling** — international + domestic freight forwarding, customs clearance, cargo insurance, and trade-compliance / consulting services
- **Account ownership** — land new accounts and grow them into long-term relationships
- **Market presence** — represent the company at local industry events and networking forums
## What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience in **freight forwarding and/or customs brokerage** — selling international & domestic forwarding, customs clearance, and trade compliance
- **Hunter mentality** — a track record of winning new BCO / shipper accounts, not just managing an existing book
- Strong existing relationships in the **New Jersey / NY, Chicago, or Atlanta** market are a major plus
- Local to (or relocating to) one of the three target markets
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and comfortable owning a territory
## Compensation
- **Base:** $80,000 – $120,000 DOE
- **Commission (from dollar 1):**
- Year 1: **10%**
- Year 2: **8%**
- Year 3: **6%**
- Year 4 and on: **1.5%**
